What is covered

From bare metal down to a single mailbox

R1Soft copies the disk at block level, and JetBackup 5 lets you restore accounts, files, databases and emails from cPanel. Rebuild a whole server or bring back one deleted file from the same vault.

Bare metal image

A full disk image with the OS, file system and boot sector. Rebuild the whole server on new hardware from the Live CD or PXE.

Block level incremental

Only changed blocks go to the vault each cycle, 10 to 50 times leaner than file backups. The daily run takes minutes, not hours.

Database aware backup

MySQL hot backup takes a quick consistent snapshot while the database stays online. PostgreSQL, MongoDB and others are captured at file system level.

File and account restore

Restore one file, one folder, one cPanel account, one mailbox or one email through the panel. A full server restore is an option, not a must.

Off-site copies

A Karachi vault on servers separate from your live server, plus an optional EU copy on Large and Dedicated. One incident never takes both.
